| TUTOKO VALLEY:
*** A day (or camping) trip (8 h return) through a typical Fjordland
bush, a bit rough and wet but the moss gardens are marvellous and the
views of the Darran mountains once in the upper valley is worth the few
hours spend to get there.

ESPERANCE VALLEY: *
Not as spectacular as the neighbour Tutoko valley, but very dramatic
with the mountains very close by.
